I’m taking a break

Hello everyone, long time, no see.

 I am aware that it has been a while since I last posted (both post and video), and there is a simple explanation: I’m taking a break!

Some things have happened in my life, that makes it necessary for me to take a break and focus on my mental and physical health for a while.

I would love to still upload and make videos and posts, but in-between juggling 5 different repeating doctors visits, going to school and having two jobs, lets just say I got absolutely no energy leftover whatsoever.

Therefore, I am taking a break indefinitely, but I am planning to come back (or pop back in) when I have the time and energy again.

All my old posts and videos will stay up, so you can always go watch or read some of them if you miss me too much – lol.

Until then – I hope you all have a happy life, one day at a time! 😊

Inspired makeup – Mushu

It has been so dang long, but as I said last time, I am going through some health troubles that I have to work on, and that leaves me with little to no energy for basically everything else.

Today though, I finally got do doing some filming, and playing, and I had such a blast getting inspired with makeup.

Mushu is just an absolutely adorable guy that I love. He is the dragon companion that appears in Mulan 1 and 2, and I have liked him for quite some time now; I actually even got a Funko POP Figurine of him for my Birthday (or was it Christmas), from my brother, and it sits on top of my shelf, keeping an eye out for me, just like he (was supposed to) watch over Mulan in the movies.

Inspired Makeup – Kida (Atlantis)

Another day for another inspired look!

For today we are doing Kida from the movies Atlantis (both 1 & 2), though I am getting more inspired by her “before ascending” look.

I absolutely adore the movie Atlantis (number 1), and I recall watching it as a VHS together with my family when I was young. Therefor I also knew that I had to get inspired by it.

The movie is about a Linguist (Milo), that joins an expedition force to find the sunken Atlantis (which you might have guessed from the title).

Kida herself looks very distinct with her pure white hair, gold accessories, and blue clothes and markings. Therefore I also wanted these colours to be the ones I used.

Thrift Flip – Panda Shirt (DIY)

I think I have said before that I absolutely love DIY’s and being creative.

Be it clothing, décor or accessories, I really enjoy having something to do with my hands, and I enjoy even more seeing the before and after, when you are done.

Today we are going into the clothes department and making a panda shirt.

OFRA long lasting liquid lipstick review

Another makeup product that it took me way too long to get to, is the OFRA long lasting liquid lipstick in the colour Mocha.

I have been wanting to try out OFRA for a while, but never really got to it, as I got distracted and honestly forgot where I put my “to try” box.

Inspired Makeup – Encanto

Doing makeup inspired by Disney’s movie Encanto (from 2021) was not really something I was planning to do. Until I saw the movie.

The characters are completely their own, the songs are superb, and the plot is so different from what I would have imagined from a “normal” Disney movie (not to mention the more you watch it, the more you find small details you did not see the first time).

Makeup Explained – Lip Stain

Makeup, makeup, makeup. We have talked about it a lot, and will proceed to do so.

In this series the topic is Makeup, and I will explain, exactly what different types of makeup are and what to use them to.

Makeup can be a jungle to wrap your head around; but I am trying to make it a bit easier to navigate in it.

Today our focus is all on Lip Stains.

DIY Mugs

DIY’s, how great they are. If you are feeling crafty and want to be creative there is almost always a DIY or craft for you to do.

Today I am in my crafty corner and decided to do something easy. We have some clear white mugs laying around that we never use, so I chose to dig them out from wherever they were and draw on them to create some cute mugs.

Inspired makeup – Cruella De Vil

Another inspired makeup day, another rolled dice.

Today’s makeup look comes from Cruella De Vil – The villain from 101 Dalmatians (An animated Disney movie from 1961 about a litter of Dalmatian puppies that get kidnapped by Cruella De Vil who wants to make their fur into coats)

This villain is one of the more “evil” ones from Disney movies, as the idea of killing puppies for their fur, is quite an unpopular thing to want. The movies themselves are iconic, and Cruella De Vil and her wild look is unforgettable.
